There are just so many things I wanna get but unfortunately I’m not a rich kid to begin with. If only money grows from tree and falls from the sky. :(

Things to get/settle/do when the pay comes in:
1. Create a new bank account – solely for savings, strictly no withdrawing
2. Kak Idah’s birthday gift
3. Pay handphone bill: $49.53 (I should screw SingTel for still overcharging)
4. Sister’s birthday gift
5. Top-up the BBDC account
6. Vans LPE (Alp) – still contemplating on the colour

Things I wish to get in the future (which costs a bomb or beyond my salary) and achieve:
1. A family car – actually Mama will be settling this :D
2. A good DSLR.
3. Able to enter a decent university – otherwise I might just resort to converting to a Giordano full-timer (HAHAHA)
4. Driving license – ASAP! Pronto!
5. Get school over and done with ASAP and get out of the fucked up school
6. Travelling

So far, 2010 has been fairly okay, minus the slight hiccups.

I’m glad I’m still standing strong despite the slight hiccups that almost killed me. Do you know how it feels when you think you really put in so much effort into something and knowing you did relatively well, you still failed to achieve the goal you thought you could? It fucking sucks big time. I hated the look on her face which spelt d-i-s-a-p-p-o-i-n-t-m-e-n-t. I felt like the reality was so cruel I didn’t know how to redeem myself and explain how that happened. I guess I’ve to just accept the fact and work harder next time. :(

I think I may have asked this before, maybe a few years ago, but I am still having an issue and want suggestions!

I want to store my DVDs on a bookcase or DVD case, however, I want to hang it on the wall. I want the unit off my floor and hanging up, basically. Does anyone know where I can get anything like this? I'd prefer it to be slim so I could hang a few up but at this point I'll take ANYTHING.

Anyone have suggestions? :/

New school year means new room! I hate moving every year but it does give me the excuse to re-arrange furniture, acquire a shitload of new (unnecessary) items, and of course reluctantly cleaning out the old. (I'm not good at throwing things out.)

i've posted once before here. I didn't throw out the red couch! I just moved it into the living room because we actually sort of have half a living room now. (I live with 3 other roommates in a 2 bedroom apt). I have also accepted that I will never be a minimalist no matter how hard I try, and thus embraced my maximalist life.

I am 22, almost 23, and married living in the City of Chicago. I JUST graduated with my B.A. in Art History (deans list baby). My husband and I recently moved into a very small garden apartment (downsize due to a job loss). I have gotten the bedroom some-what in order (my husband's corner is still a disaster).

There's so much more I want to do to spruce the place up (can't paint). But, we might be leaving Chicago and going to Cleveland...not sure yet.

I hit my foot on this big brick in my room yesterday. What the hell. It hurts like shit. The tip of my little pinkie toe is now purple in colour. Looks like some sick ice-cream cone. Hahahha.

Anyways yesterday was the due date for FYP report. And we were like in a rat race trying to print all the bloody reports. And we somehow managed to spoil the printing machine for awhile. It was stucked for a long long long time.

Alot of problems and it took us 4 hours plus to get all the 2 reports ready to be handed in.

So now, fyp is no longer much of a problem except for the presentation next week.

As for tomorrow, I have a telephone skill test. Dang it! Need to ace that one since I messed up the essay writing. Hope it is smooth sailing since the lecturer doesn't seem like the lenient one.

***Kak Nora’s wedding on last Saturday. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay long due to work but oh god she was freaking gorgeous beyond words! Congrats Kak Nora! Make babies soon k, can’t wait to see you getting pretty/handsome kids! HAHA. (I’ll put up some picture on her wedding soon)

My holiday ended on a happy note. :) The beau gave me a surprise on Sunday. Never mind if it was a belated one but heck he made me cry in front of other diners. It was embarrassing ok! Haha thank god I didn’t sing along with the birthday song thinking it was for someone else ‘cause it was for…me! I was truly touched. :') After dinner, we decided to give the Kenko fish spa a try. I think I spent the first few minutes freaking out at the ticklishness but after a while I got accustomed to the feeling and yeah it feels good. My legs never felt that smooth after so long. Hahaha. Next was Avatar 3D, and it was simply awesome although it made me left the theatre with a headache because of the 3D glasses.

Back to school on Monday. It wasn’t that bad until I got back my second paper. :( It’s only the third day of the term (as of now) but I’m already looking forward to the next holiday. Daym, I need to get my focus right!

 Hey guys! This is my first time posting here, and I just need a bit of help with something. I'm a first year design student and I just finished my first semester in college. The thing is, I'm finding it very hard to organize my art supplies around my room! I need some help on how I can store my art work and large pieces of paper (instead of under the bed lol). Anyone know where I can get paper stands or something of that sort? I'm also open to any advice concerning paint storage and other art supplies. I just need ideas! :)

do any of you have a flatscreen TV mounted on your wall? how does it look? where is it? I have 28" flatscreen and i'm currently redoing my room with a minimalist / adult like natural theme. my dad wants to mount the TV to give me dresser space. i just want to know if anyone else has done this first?
